We are a young family brought up like most Americans. We weren't brought up on a farm, living off the fat of the land; it was more like being brought up in the land of fat! Just kidding. I don't want to appear ungrateful, but I do want to rightly portray our perspective. TV dinners, fast food, cheap dining were the norm. We didn't know any different as we (my wife and I) started our family. We thought eating healthy was buying margarine instead of butter, and low fat milk. We didn't know that cheap bread (white or wheat) with all those preservatives was even an issue to be concerned with. Through multiple influences, research, and asking a lot of questions, we are on a path of nutritional well-being. We aren't perfect, and I am sure there is much for us to learn, but we are trying to set a better framework for our children to pick up. Who knows, maybe they won't even know the store sells bread! I hope this explains where we are coming from, and what we are trying to do. With what knowledge we have gained, we hope to provide products at a reasonable price, as our contribution to healthier families. That is the best I can explain our physical nutrition path. More important to mention is our spiritual nutrition path. We are Bible-believing Born-Again Christians. I know those phrases may not mean much in the society we are in today, but this is where it all has to start. Regardless of oneselves church or denomination affiliation it is only a true heart conversion and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that make any difference in eternity. The bible clearly states that " For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" Rom 6:23 It is only through a work of the Holy Ghost on a persons heart and conscience, bringing repentance and contrition, and placing all your faith and trust in the finished sacrifice made by Jesus Christ that you may escape Hell fire and have eternal life!!

For those of you still curious, we are part of the Anabaptist faith. We (both my wife and I) are not nor ever were Amish, Mennonite, Hutterite, Dunkards, Old Brethren or any of these better known faiths. We come from a typical Independent Baptist background, which we are very grateful for. However, as apostasy sets in on all sides, we are finding ourselves being driven further towards an older fashioned Christianity. I will go ahead and stop there for now, but if you have any further questions, feel free to contact us or visit our church website at http://www.ourchurch.com/member/p/plainbaptists/
